Here are the Common App schools with their deadlines, supplements, SAT/ACT/Subject Test requirements: https://www.commonapp.org/CommonApp/MemberRequirements.aspx

Go to the top right pull down menu & select ALL so that every school is shown.

Schools like Michigan, Redlands, Puget Sound, Southern California, Miami, Virginia, etc will be under “U” for University of…

Most of you (if not all of you) will have at least one school on the Common Application. You should be filling out all the pages besides the essays. Do a little each night so it doesn’t seem overwhelming.

Save your work with a user name and password. Keep a log of all user names and passwords for every application you fill out. You might THINK you can remember them all, but it’s unlikely as some apps make you add a number/cap letter.

ACTIVITY RESUME: Arrange your activities by hours/week, weeks/year, years involved (in high school). Keep a hard copy of this (ask Danielle for her Activity Resume doc) so you can quickly fill out any other apps not on the Common App.

** Remember to SAVE your common app activity entries about every 15-20 min. You are logged out every 40 minutes and the common app is known NOT to save info on this page if you’re not vigil about saving.

Just over a month now until the September 10th ACT test. For those of you looking for a great ACT tutor, I can recommend Danielle Bianchi Golod wholeheartedly. She has been helping students for over a decade and the bottom line is that she not only knows her stuff, but loves helping each student. It is really a pleasure to see her work.

The ACT has been popular in the mid west for many years, but is starting to become more popular with students on the east and west coast. The test is gaining popularity because many students are finding the test easier to take…and probably for good reason. This is not to say that the test is easy, but the material covered in the test is very similar to what they have been studying in school. Yeah, that almost makes too much sense, I know.

Now, if you are looking for the upcoming ACT test dates for the next year, here you go:
